Quick Security Check
 

Stealth paypal 4 months old and 4 days ago (Monday) I attempted to send 80 pound to a friend as friends and family payment. I had made other F&F payments previously of smaller and larger amounts (about 4 before this) and they all went through instantly and fine. With this one I was asked for a quick security check. However I didn't have access to the number so I just went and added a fresh number to the account and confirmed it. I then waited more than 72 hours and attempted to add a second bank account to the paypal (the other bank account is confirmed and has had 7 withdrawals made to it and each one had a 72 hour wait but they all went through). However the system is blocking me with an error adding this new bank account. I then rang paypal and they said they are going to override the security block adding it and that'll take 4 hours so to re-try then after clearing cache and cookies from my browser.

So in 4 hours I'll try that and hope for the best! Anyone here experience anything similar?

These are just minor security checks/delays.
Usually go away if you wait 2 or 3 days and try again.
