Default Account limitation

Sold an item for just below £200, branded but not ⊗⊗⊗⊗. Account is one year old, sold around 100 items of mixed value nothing as high as my last sale, zero negative feedback.

Checked PayPal to withdraw funds and got the dreaded "there's a problem with your account" notification, it's asking me to confirm personal details and identity.

Is this anything to worry about it?

I was also fast approaching the £1600 recieving limit, is this it?

Thanks in advance.

Update; submitted docs and I've received an email as to how there's a risk involved doing business with me and they are parting ways.. strange, worth challenging?

No chance of them overturning that mate. Go on to your next account.

Sounds like the documents were rejected. Pointless to challenge it. Move on.

What kind of ID did you submit? The only "checking numbers" that can be done for most IDs is if there is an algorithm at work for number generation. I kind of doubt PP would do this since it takes time and some resources - easier just to ban an account based on activity and suspicious/risky sales....which I still feel is probably relevant here.

Example: digital delivery sales = very risky

When I checked my Paypal account again the "Proof of address" section was unticked, so perhaps it was that ID that got declined? Onto the next account I guess then!

Digital "stuff" is not a good idea. Those that have ignored other members advise on NOT selling digital items have seen an unfortunate fate that all of those sellers eventually experience.
