Paypal Limited But It's Not
 

4 month old UK paypal. Made it's first sale 3 months ago. Made 2 sales 2 months ago and then apart from logging in and browsing paypal every few days no sales until yesterday where I was selling 5 pound items and sold 60ish. Today I added and confirmed my bank and a few minutes after confirming I went to withdraw 80 pound. Available Balance at this point is 250ish pound. It then asked for a quick security check via text. Didn't have the sim on me so went away to get it and by the time I got it and logged back in I had a 'there seems to be a problem with your account' message. Clicked on it (did not receive any email about it) and it wanted me to upload my passport and utility bill which I did. However, I can still withdraw, send and receive money and even close my paypal account so I'm not limited in anyway. I've received a couple of payments and bought something myself on it to check and it's all been fine. Any ideas?

I also noticed when calling paypal today that the automated voice has changed and that the 6 digit one time passcode thing is broken as it has failed to recognize both of the unique codes I generated on the paypal website.

Submitted the docs but 4 hours later I got the 180 day hold. Very odd.

its really strange,today i also got limet from paypal.
they ask pasport and fullfillment

hehe..in this 6 month my 5 account hasbeen closed.

its a soft limit,I had one before and I ignore it and use it until EU limit message came up,then I upload the docs and it passes and all cleared.

this is a wiser move for this limit,use the account as much as it could do.

Just an update to this. Got the 180 day hold 3 weeks or so ago. However I randomly went and checked that account today and there is no restriction anymore. It's fully accessible and I even withdrew 50 of the 250 quid in there which went through instantly. I'm perplexed! I'm hoping that this paypal will be stronger due to this as it will have seen to be suspended forever but a further review re-opened it meaning it should be green flagged by the PP staff and therefore should last longer providing no other issues arise. Time will tell!

But be aware no PayPal is guaranteed to be freed from their persecution.

I have also been asmes to provide 1 form of ID. I pmd most of the account sellers providing the eu limit removal service.

How did you manage to pass, did you buy the docs or created it yourself?
