Random hold
 

Have sold over 60 items, all good feedback so far, a few returns that were solved quickly, no high value sales all between £5-£40.

Sold an item last night, buyer in Russia, checked paypal to see my money is on hold.

Any reason to worry? this account is about £400 away from the £1600 limit.

Looks liek the overseas payment has triggered it. nothing to worry about just uploading tracking info

Update, now receiving holds on some UK items? Strange.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but i'm still getting these holds on my sales, the email I get mentions the risk of the item i'm selling (nothing ⊗⊗⊗⊗, virtual or expensive)

Im about £200 away from the receiving limit, it it worthwhile to carry on with this account or is it a goner?

Any help appreciated.

If you're getting close to the limits make sure you stop using the account and let the current held payments release so you can withdraw them first.

Then if you don't make it through the EU limits at least you haven't got too much held for 180 days
