DNS maybe, I cant log in to paypal after several visits
 

I have searched DNS..nothing.

If I log into paypal on my PC over 8 times in a short space of time I just get blocked. Its happened to me a few times . My PP accounts are always fine, but obviously its very frustrating.

I'm presuming its DNS cache or similar. Strangely it never happens when I'm on my laptop.

Does anyone know how to avoid this happening on my PC..

I have tried ipconfig /dnsflush but it doesn't help. There must be more to getting rid of it.

I think it's very unlikely this has anything do to with the DNS server you're using. But if you think that may be the problem, change your DNS servers. You can set a primary and an alternate DNS server on your own in internet settings, and there are websites that list 100's of public DNS servers by country.

In my opinion it's more likely you're triggering some kind of security block on your account by logging in 8 times over a short period of time. That kind of activity looks more like a bot than a human.

Good suggestion you could well be correct.

I wonder why it doesn't happen on a laptop?

Happens even if I change VPN every time. Weird.

Its got me thinking in to how PP is actually observing us.
