Limitation over 180 days - money not released
 

So I asked for help on here and my post has been removed!!

Not too sure why??

I have over £500 in a stealth paypal that is on 184 days since hold.
The adviser from the Philippines has said that the id I have sent can not be verified as they can easily check.

I bought a colourful id and they originally were ok with it however now they wont accept.

What is the best course of action to get this money?

Been on the phone again today and they have advised that the back office have declined both my UK driving licence and UK Passport

I think the money is now lost forever!:shocked::shocked:

I had a similar issue years ago, when I was trying stealth BEFORE coming across this site.

Didn't submit any docs, just kept to the line that I had set up in a made up name to protect my identity online.
Eventually spoke to a UK agent who understood and allowed me to withdraw to another paypal account.
Took ages but eventually got my £300+ back

Since discovering stealth though have not had any issues

Unfortunately I have sent docs and they have both been refused, They told me that they can verify documents online however I am not sure how true this is.

The documents were from a very good source who is recommended on here and they looked awesome so I'm not too sure what my next steps are - perhaps bye bye £500 pounds!!

Forget about it and move on honestly

Saves you the stress next time don’t leave a lump sum in the PayPal

I’ve lost about £1500 from 2 stealth accounts

Just don’t make the same mistake again

Sadly, this is the case we have seen countless times with UK Paypals.

If they are unable to verify and confirm your identity they will not release your money after 180 days. They also know your legal options are limited if you are not who you say you are.

If the account is stealth, consider your money gone. No solicitor or government official will take your case up if PayPal claims the funds belong to some other person.

The annoying thing was it was one sale, thats the only reason it got so high!!

I cant wait to lose PayPal from ebay!!!
