Phone Number cannot be confirmed

Trying to lift limits on recieving amount on paypal account so doing the telephone verify method and it claims '

For security reasons, the phone number you have selected cannot be confirmed. Please select another phone number.

This is a voipUK number. Worked fine with ebay with same address/name etc as on paypal. everything matches. phone number is from same area as postcode etc.

why isnt it working? its asking me to add another number etc..

what can i do ?

Just to add...On the limitation part of Paypal, i had the option to verify CARD or verify ADDRESS/PHONE so i went back in and done the CARD verify.

It claims to be doing the £1 thing to my entropay card...

PROBLEM ? my entropay is my real name/address....where as paypal is my stealth details, will this be a problem?

If not..once verifyed the pound, will i need to verify my phone/address etc?

Yes you'll need to verify your phone/address . Somebody on these forms told me the same thing and it did'nt work. The only way is phone or address...

I got the same problem on one of my accounts, anyone know why this happens and what is best to do?

I am confused: adding the card (VCC or other) will verify the paypal. That is how it usually works. Is that what you mean

voip is still working but it might depend on the phone number that voip forwards to: know for sure that some users have had problems

ummm no not that, ive set up loads of PP accounts and its only happened on one of them, Maybe i should try another number with it and see if it works.
