I was aware that you raise the complaint with the organisation and they have 8 weeks to send you a resolution if no resolution arrives or if you disagree with the company's resolution you can then go to the ombudsman and request an adjudication.
I understand when an adjudication arrives they have to follow it up and ac case at an adjudication means the company has to pay the case fee.
I have made a number of complaints about finance companies and 2 complaints about the FO itself of whihc one was upheld and the other dismissed. Both about them not following their own procedures.
I never complain directly to a company I make my case and email it to the FO who then send it to the company. I recently did this to a credit card company who sent me an email with a click to log on link in it as part of the email telling me to be aware of unexpected emails with click to links in them.
Thank you for your advice and experience
