Mismatch names on bank account and paypal
 

Dear members

I have just received a message from barclays that like other banks we would be matching names from march and check who you are paying , You would also need to give these details to anyone making payments to you , what does it mean that from now on we cannot withdraw money from any stealth account to any bank if name wont match ?

From what you say they are saying, that is correct. You'll need a new bank account

Over the years banks have only checked sort code and account number when making a bank transfer, will not affect withdrawing from paypal to the bank, its bank account > bank account and paypal is not a bank
