How to get my account limited?
 

Hi. I have a paypal with some money in, I was trading some virtual goods in video games. I didnt have my real name on the paypal or address and it got half limited about a year ago but I didnt have time to sort it then. So half limited as in, it's asking for proof of address, I tried putting it more or less blank thinking it would get a permanent limitation but they just send email saying "we couldnt verify the details, send again".

So basically I want my account fully limited so it goes for the whole 180 day period for which after it ends I can maybe withdraw my funds. How do I go about making my account full limited?

I got an account stuck in that state one time and it stayed that way forever. I couldn't receive payments so there was no way of getting the account into further trouble.

You can't just withdraw now.. since you aren't fully limited?

You know, it's kind of sad, but I just tried what you said with a very small amount - 5pounds and it worked, but now when I try the full amount - 500pounds, it says
"Sorry, we weren't able to complete your payment at this time. Please try again later."

I guess I messed up and should have tried the full amount straight away. This 5pounds probably threw some red flags on the system and account is locked. Guess I'll try after 48hours and if it doesn't work then in a year or something.

If that's the case I'd just do a few small withdrawals over the next few days until you have withdrawn the balance.

I had 20 bucks stuck in an account that needed my ID, waited like 150 days then surprisingly they said I can withdraw
