new paypal new bank account
 

ok guys, so i realise that i need a new bank account now i have a new pp/ebay accounts.. i already have a bank account set up with hsbc but that was the one i was using with my recently suspended ebay/paypal accounts.. i am looking to make new ebay/paypal accounts but i am not sure how to set up a new bank account for them.. can i do it online through hsbc or would i have to set a new one up by going into the branch? and would the two accounts be linked for paypal/ebay to find me out? thanks peeps :hail:

You can open bank accounts online and in person. Whichever suits you best. Must use real info, not stealth.

Will you be linked? Depends on YOU. The bank won't do it on their own initiative. But if you screw up doing your part with PP, you might give yourself away.

There are many ways you could screw up. I can't even begin to make the list. Instead of asking your question backward, you should invest some time searching the forum and reading the stealth guide. Learn the right way. It's faster than asking about the wrong ways.

17 year old new paypal and bank account
 

hey peeps, i need to set up a brand new bank account.. i already have a student one with hsbc but it has been blacklisted by ebay/paypal and need a new one.. i am 17 years old.. does this mean i cant set up another account.. i have been told by a friend under 18s cant set up more than one account :S?? hope you can help, thanks

You have to be 18 to open bank accounts certainly in Canada. If you open one your parents have to come with you in order to open a bank account. Also if you have brothers or anyone, you can make split accounts.

i have already opened a bank account when i was 16 which worked on ebay/paypal and i got verified and lifted all limits.. but i just need to know if i can set up any more.. or is one the maximum i can do? is there any other way i can get another bank account i.e go to a different bank? thanks again

UK Banking laws have some provisions for students of your age opening more than one bank account. Your bottom line will be to have an account that allows the Direct Debit mandate for paypal purposes.

You can have as many accounts as you like.

Just go to a different bank and ask to open a young persons/student account.

If your worried just tell them this is your first account....

As GreenBean said double check the account has a Direct Debit facility.
