PP permanent limited, 180 passed, doc asked
 

I m sure this has been asked before,
But I hv further query,

My stealth pp had been permanently limited with money in there, now 180 days are passed, no email came through as I thought it would, contacted pp, now they are asking id and bank statements,

Provided them stealth,

Reading the forum deep, noticed they somehow verify passport,
How much is this true?
If after verifying they refuse, what options could be there, or it’s straight lost the money, nothing can be done,

if denied, Paypal will only ask you to provide another Doc .

the money is safe .

Actually your funds are NOT safe.
Ive seen/heard plenty of cases similar to this one where the funds were locked up in the paypal acct and not retrieved. Every doc rejected is documented making it more difficult to do the next time and since you broke their ToS by signing up using made up details theyre well within their right to hold on to those funds unless you can prove to them youre the account owner.
Sad but true.

It has been over a week now, no reply nothing, how long shud I wait before I contact them again,

anything specific caused the acc to limit?

I know emails have been really slow, still waiting on my funds from my personal acc to be released and they didnt respond to any emails for some time.

Try calling again in another week or so? UK - wise, most companies are incredibly slow to respond, ive waited weeks for courier issues as well and utilities rectifications

You just provided one set of docs so far, its possible they may ask for something else but more than likely still stuck in the backlog for review.

As slokor says there is a risk, one week though.... just be patient mate, hopefully you didnt leave too much in there

I had two pp accs gone permanently limited, 5000 and 2000 in other.

On 5000 one, provided them ID & bank statements and have not heard anything since then, it has been over two weeks now.

On 2000, they did not ask ID and bank statements but just said they are still reviewing.

I have raised a complaint as well but no response,
I have phoned on the other day as well where philipino advisor said money is locked and since 180 days are passed she is going to request to release the money and I will get an email advising to withdraw, but 4 days are passed but no email either.

I have also noticed they used to reply/response pretty quick on when I used message us tab on pp acc, but noticed they are not responding there either at all.

May I ask you guys what else I can do please, I really need the money, is genuine money as was selling genuine digital delivery item, but I understand was stealth acc on both pp, permanently limited as there was spike of sales.

Any help is greatly appreciated

I've had many PayPal accounts that have gone way over 180 days like one I've done a week ago. It had £500 in the account from 7 years ago. they wanted docs but I just said that I no longer use PayPal and never needed to and to transfer the call to the account specialist and she had a look and she asked for docs as well so I said I no longer use PayPal services and that I want to withdraw funds and don't understand why I should send my docs and she was alright with me and allowed me to add bank account and withdraw funds so just a bit of pressure can get them to open it.
