Recommend me a UK Gift Card
 

Hi, i've got to the stage of setting up a new Stealth Paypal account, but it is asking for a card to link to it, i am assuming this should be a gift card? What is the best to go for that i can get in the UK. Thanks

Entropay virtual credit cards are great. Register with entropay using your real details and upload £10.

Then you can make extra virtual credit cards by transferring a few pounds over...an endless amount of credit cards!

...If i add one of those cards to my paypal account, can i withdraw funds from paypal onto the card and then withdraw from a cashpoint, or am i barking up the wrong tree...? lol

i tried to setup a new entropay account yesterday and they want me to send in copies of bank statements and my drivers licece :( sucks!!

i managed to remember password from an old entropay account but it wont let me create new cards..the "create new entropay virtual credit card" tab is greyed out and so is the Load Card and Transfer Funds button. i still have a balance of around £8 on a virtual card though and i added a new funding source just now... :(

i had to open entropay to get my paypal limit lifter and i have some money stuck in the account. cant send out item until the money is unfrozen, its causing me real grief right now.
anyone have a good suggestion on this one? perhaps another working alternative to entropay?

not many good or cheap alternatives to entropay, really, there are the instant type cards you can purchase on forum from lakeman...........

actually dude just pmd me about this.....your own bank card can be used, even though it isnt stealth address, as its the EXPUSE pp are sending you that confirms its yours, not address.....beware though, pre-loadeded are better in that you control what is paid

as for entropay, the greyed part, is often to do with your funding source, has card expired, anyway fiddle with it, they reply quickly to pms

as for sending docs to them, thats ok, most people get asked, send them you real id, they are fine...

yeh i knew about using ur own bank card, did it many times and the other day on another account but i tried it today, no luck. tried another real CC, no luck.

the bank acount i added to entropay is fine, no problems with it what so ever, its the bank account i use daily. i PM'd them...they said i need to send in documents :( i dont mind doing this but its gunna take a couple weeks b4 anything gets resolved?

also with stealth accounts, can u add any CC number in? doesnt it have to match up with the address u provide into paypal?

i dont mind buying a CC number if you can recommend someone to me?

Fill out the registration page, card will be out with you within around 5 days. Once received you go to your nearest pay point. Top it up with 20pounds(minimum). The receipt you get will have your card number/ expiry date / security key. Bang that into paypal. BOBS UR UNCLE

Normally, avs is used by retailers to check card is in your control, but paypal doesnt need to as it is sending EXPUSE instead

yes, 3v voucher can receive expuse, and you can spend the £20 on fees, see their site for explanation of paypal, thing is they need a real address initially to send you a card, but then you buy the vouchers at retailers and you can amend the address online anyway.

according to stealth rules, the addresses should match - its advisable and I always try to do so, but according to members here, some forumers dont bother and it works the same..try it if you like, the worst that can happen is its rejected, paypal cant see the address of the real card after all.....

I just regsitered for one of those 3V cards, ill have to change the address online when i get it to match the stealth details on the PP. It says it will take 10 working days to receive :(

PP arent asking for the expuse, they need a CC to raise the receiving limit. I have money from a customer in the PP but I cant do anything to it untill i raise the limit.

BTW with lakemans cards, will they work for me? Mine is a UK PP and he is from USA

Just open another entropay account, with a different email address, their verification process is random.

It happened to me, I opened another account and it worked fine. On top of that, have been back to the account they asked details from and am able to use that too now, without ever handing any information over to them.

Thing is with Entropay if yo dont have credit card for funding using your bank visa debit is a right hassle

transactions not going through sign up for security allsorts
I tried past half hour saying transaction refused and I got card details correct

entropay IS the funding for fees!

you are getting all sorts of probs, strange, my bank card is accepting fee payment, when needed, fine...maybe its becasue you are an alien

Was your card a visa electron (or whatever it's called)? Sometimes they do not work.:tears:

No visa debit

Not being funny, did the visa debit have more than a tenner on it? Not heard of them failing. My last entropay account (UK based) was funded with a visa debit card no problems. I fund my OZ accounts the same way :ranger:

Ah, OK, that's why it failed. Kinda no money although you have the right to the money. THere are other options ....
