What is the maximum amount of money you can receive on your UK Paypal account before you have to do the 100,000 verification checks...?

Differs with the conduct of every account.( Ball-park figure that might see anti-money laundering procedures take place is £1700). However, paypal does take action sooner with some accounts. Not going to give a specific figure simply because it is paypal :boink:

What you need to do, imo, is operate the account in such a way that if paypal ask for details you can supply them. We've had cases from £10 to £2500 where paypal has applied limitations. So many variables that any user just needs to be aware

yes, it happened to me as well. Legit account. They asked for a piece of ID, and a utility bill or bank statement.
It took me a while to produce - lol - but then they lifted the limit and all has been well since.
I do not sell vero or anything risky , but it happened at approx the $3000 mark - so just convert that to your currency

I suppose if you are selling thick and fast , and maybe risky items, it may happen to you at an earlier stage.

just be ready for the ID and something with addy on it.

All depends on how well you look after your account and how you follow PP protocol. Some people still havent been asked after a year of selling.
