Paypal Phone Number issue Help !
 

Can you use the same phone number in a different Paypal account? Or is it like the credit cards?

I've just had a issue with verifying my home phone number. I had a company forward a generated number to my mobile phone....it's really strange because it usually works...but for some reason the automated lady on the phone could not recognize the keys I was pressing on the mobile phone.

well if nothing has changed eg same company that provides your numbers and same mobile, and problem persists, then just have to forward it to a real landline

So i'll have to get a different phone number from the forward number company? So paypal don't allow 2 of the same home number on different accounts ?

I considered using one of these companies that forward a landline number to your mobile but then I found a voip service that provides free landline numbers, they also provide a 'softphone' interface that has a tone dialing keypad which you can use to enter any codes required to verify your paypal account. I would recommend you change your Paypal home phone number to one of these numbers rather than trying to add another number to one that doesnt work. I have already done this before and it worked.
