I need a UK bank acct to verify my stealth UK Paypal acct
 

I am not located in the UK but need a UK bank account to verify my stealth UK paypal account.Any inexpensive solutions would be appreciated.Thanks

Banking in UK is very strict, I do not think you will find any option apart from moving to UK as even online applications will require documents to be sent to UK address and then verified with ID by bank teller of the same bank, police officer, doctor, etc. You would at least have to visit the UK to get your ID verified. Also ID would have to be genuine as using false ID for any kind of fraud in UK would get you a few years in jail! They DO check while you sit waiting for them to make a photocopy of your ID, it really is not worth the risk!
You could try to find a virtual bank account but I do not know of any for UK?

I live in the Uk, I recently jumped into a solution. HSBC and maybe other banks offer a MYMoney junior account, comes with debit card if the kid is 13plus. I will defenetely have my sons bank account/debit card on the backburner. He has another surname, very handy.!

they will give you a local uk "bank account" number . This will be a transit type of account , but may solve your problem.

as said \i have not completed all the steps yet, but it was recommended to me by amazon.co.uk as a way to work round their requirement to have UK bank account

Ive looked on site, it doesnt say anything about a UK bank acc for overseas customers, so can you confirm they give you back with uk format and confirm this has been successfully added to paypal?

I have started a thread on this elsewhere, and yes I will give all info as I get it.

I expect in the 9 years since OP started the thread he has worked something out :) At least I would hope so!
