virifying address on paypal
 

anyone else had a problem with verifying address with new paypal account, tired to confirm address on new paypal account keeps saying unable to verify, any advise please :noidea:

i just kept clicking it and it asked me to verify with cc so i added another vcc but i think you can also get the letter sent out to you

i read somewhere that they are trying to verify you by electoral role also introducing credit scoring, maybe they are doing the electoral role thing now and that why this is happen allot lately.

if they are using electrol role how are stealth accounts going to work?

I dont know but my guess is that they will let you verify another way .

Hello all, just thought I would let you know that I am still having a problem with the phone verification process. This has been an ongoing problem since last week. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

Is it a real address you are using or a mix up of a real address?

I got asked to send in the two ID's on the last one when setting up a new account that was mix up of a real address.

Sent it in after being creative and they seemed happy

But that could have also have been set off due to the bank account I was using.

its a real address, keeps on giving the message (can't verify identity using information given, please check and try again) and 3 goes it states verify by phone when i click this it just refreshes the page dont know why??? any ideas would be great please :help:

You using Mozila with noscript.

The only time I have had that sort of thing other than a website glitch, is when something is stopping javascript.

this is a real uk address its on google maps, i know others are having the same problem too but as to why :noidea:

Trust ebay to use the one system that has no idea where you are.

I checked my address on google maps and it looks as if it is about seven doors off on the opposite side of the street. They do not even realize we have the odd, even system in the UK.

NoScript is a mozila add on that stops scripts running on web pages, if you do not have that one, do you use any others that may have updated lately?
I know addblocka was causing problems on some sites recently after an update and there has been a lot of updates since mozilas last update.

Any of the others using a different browser, as it still may be a website failure?

If they are all using fire you could try open Fire up in safe mode and see if you still have the problem, then you would know if it were one of the addons.

its good to know that ebay are imposing so many limits, because taobao doesnt and they are kicking ebays ass all over. Watch out for the future about taoboa folks-- mark my word! :)
