More PayPal limits removal issues ... any ideas?
 

Hi there,

Just opened a new stealth paypal account, and had the verification done yesterday (halifax savings account), the two payments came through.

Now when I try lifting limits, by confirming my new altered name, and stealth address, I get:

"We have done some checks and unfortunately the information you have entered doesnt match the details we found for you"

I dont quite know if its the name or the address thats the problem ... or is it something else.

Any sugestions as to what to do?

PP Address and Bank Address don't match maybe? Anyone got more info on this...(just my guess, don't take it as FACT)

update: paypal has ignored that, and is now asking for phone verification. However when I try, the same page simply keeps reloading. I've read other posts concerning this issue, so I'll leave that for now.

However I do have another issue (not knowing whether the initial paypal details verification failed due to the name or the address ).... my voip numbers are all tied to my stealth address location, which is about 10 miles from my house. Now if and when the phone verification thing starts working, do I verify with one of those, or should I get a more local voip phone number?

Yes I seem to have this problem to everyone is saying that it is just a glitch, I have not added a bank or credit card so I don't think this is the problem for the address on your bank account.

first off, halifax saving's accounts dont accept the DD mandate so that account will get removed by paypal soon, so you will need a current account to add to your paypal, next when you confirm your information with paypal, make sure you have a credit card linked to your paypal account, it has to match your address, hope this helps

Had this happen to 3 of my accounts TODAY! Well thing is...it's DEATH IN A HAND BASKET for 2/3 accounts THUS FAR!

They have you confirm it by sending in some info, do it...BAM 180 day now.

... my real credit card info, or my stealth 3v card info?

I stil that the same problem and it looks like i am not the only too. I just hope it is a glitch or we all can say goodbye to stealth Paypal. I wonder if Paypal really started to verify details themselves.

Im guessing it could be because the VOIP phone number area code and my IP address dont match up? Im 51 miles away from my VOIP area code.

Is anyone else whos getting this error msg using a VOIP number whose area code is significantly far away from their IP/Physical location? ie..using a Liverpool VOIP number and trying to do the pp phone verification from a computer in Cornwall?

Hey ... just to let you guys know, the paypal phone verification went through today and the limits are lifted

hi, im having exactly the same problem. Done the phone verification on paypal but it still says i have the 1900 limit. Did you just give it time or phone them? any help would be great..
