ensignia | 11-07-2010 01:10 AM | Is it game over? 2 Attachment(s) Firstly, let me start by saying: This forum is invaluable, there is so much relevant information on here it's a real godsend :hail:
Now, on to the problem. I've got a fully verified UK Business Account with PayPal (I own a legitimate registered business and am VAT registered), which was recently limited with this email to inform me: Quote: Notification about Your PayPal Account RXI134
As part of our ongoing security measures, we regularly screen activity in the PayPal system. We recently noticed an issue with your account:We noticed some changes in your business and would like more information from you.
| I had £2,500 in there ($4050) which is very, very silly of me as I know exactly what PayPal are like and have heard all the horror stories, as I've been trading on eBay since the days of Billpoint. Rookie mistake to make really
They've asked me for some extra information (see attachment 2), and I have no problem with supplying any of the information as I am 100% legitimate. The only one I'm going to struggle with is Vendor/Supplier information as I buy incorrectly listed and categorised mobile phones on eBay and then re-sell them on eBay. I buy them on my normal account and then sell them on my Business account.
Both of these eBay accounts are fine, it's only the PayPal which has been limited. Am I lucky and have only got a light limitation which can easily be removed or is it just a formality before the 'parting ways' email?
Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to have to explain a void of £2,500 to my accountant because PayPal have held it for 6 months. |
