Landline verification for paypal!!
 

Hi. I recently tried to send out £1000 from my paypal to another paypal and got limited. They require me to either provide them bank statement or call by landline for address verification. The problem is that i already left uk and no longer live in that apartment. The landline number has already cancelled. I tried to change to another uk landline but paypal wont let me change it. I asked my bank to send me my bank statement and they said they cant send statements oversea. Please help!!!

That's a sad predicament but, as a new member, your post sounds kind of fishy to me. Perhaps other folx will help you out but you need to figure out your plan slowly.

Sending that amount from paypal to another paypal is VERY dangerous unless your transaction is solid. Since I have no details, I cannot comment.

Just remember, worst comes worst, you will have your funds in 180 days.

Hopefully you will contribute to the forum with an update. In the meantime, all the best. I have been in your position - still am on several paypals but I never rely on paypal to pay up immediately - always keep outs.

Do you not a friend in the u.k that the bank can send the statement too and they can forward it to you ?

180 days is not that bad, it's money in the bank and the sun shines (even if it's raining) the day you gets your hands on it.

Sending a large amount of money from one paypal account to another paypal account will automatically send off a red light, You might be able to get a virtual phone number which is based in the United Kingdom but the call gets forwarded to your Malaysian phone number, then as far as Paypal know you're in the UK but then you're IP address will be based in Malaysia.
