Paypal removed natwest saving account x2

hi

i registered 2 paypal accounts with 2 natwest online savings account. they both got the 2 deposits from paypal and so i verified them

a week or two later i got this message from paypal and i cant quite understand why they would try to take some money out of it. both accounts were dormant, i hadnt used the paypal accounts at all after verifying them. i got this message on BOTH paypal accounts i used natwest online savings accounts for.

Dear......

On , we attempted to transfer from your bank account, ending in ****. This transfer was returned by your bank on * Apr 2011 for the reason below:

This is an invalid bank account number.

As a result, this bank account has been disabled from your PayPal account. Please contact your bank for more information or add a new bank account. Please do not contact PayPal because this is entirely an issue between the account holder and their bank.

Yours sincerely,

PayPal

I have jad the same message from paypal regarding the hsbc flex accounts, they do not seem to work, does anyone know which hsbc accounts that do work?

most people tend to steer clear of HSBC i believe when operating stealth. Has your HSBC accounts been accepting debits from a stealth paypal? (meaning names dont match)

all accounts had the money entered to get verified but paypal always permanently limited them 2 days later. What is smile the internet bank like? does anyone have any experience of this bank?

GreenBean 04-13-2011 06:38 AM

Smile is OK. But you have the option of other High Street banks.

Try a natwest current account
RBS are aces.
Allied & Leicester are sound as well

I prefer accounts that allow the direct debit mandate: these are mostly current accounts :pop2:
