Paypal now allowing UK residents to use US bank accounts.

I've just logged onto a new PayPal account, just going to add my UK bank account and noticed that it has changed.

It seems that I can add my US based bank account and use it for both adding money and withdrawing.

Or is it a trick of crafty PayPal?.

you can add a US account, but most brits dont have one, so never really discussed...

I've never noticed this before with a UK PayPal account, lucky for me I have a US bank account, I'm just wondering if I would need to add my US address for my USA debit card.

I had a usa bank account added onto one my paypal accounts years ago, never had a problem with it, the main problem is getting a usa bank account.

Anyone know any sites were you can apply for a account ? before i go hunting in google ? The last guys i got it from have stopped working with intl customers.

You could try Har ris Bank - they accept international people. Be prepared with ID and bit of mailing in of documents.

Very nice bank with "full" deposits allowed...

eh? They are easy to get.. lol getting US bank accounts is not a problem Getting UK bank account IS a problem! :P

But if you add a US bank account on a UK paypal account I think the account is not fully verified, even if you add the bank account.
