I had the old one and it was fun, easy to use and a handy thing to have.

If I can remember correctly, the was a yearly limit you could put on the card, but it was a healthy amount (cant remember).

The old card was really easy to apply for - just log in and tick a box or two and then they send to REGISTERED pp address.

When I had the old one, if I transfered money before 2pm, the money would be on the card the next day. Handy as then I did not print postage at home but went post office and used the card to pay.

If you are a 'normal' eb user then I think its a useful thing to go for.
If you are a ste a lther, then I dont know how one would get one of these.

I want one because it was fun for me and instead of transfering money to bank account, I could just put it on the card.

I could also withdraw the cash via a cashpoint at a cost of 2 squid per withdrawal - max 300 per day

but this was the old one.

I'm guessing these cards need to be sent out to registered/verified address?

If so...Stealth is problem unless you pop round to wherever its been sent and make up some crap about your mail being sent to the wrong place? Most likely be in the bin already by then though

?!?!?

It's been awhile since I've used paypal, but the top up card is the same card as the pp debit correct? If so, I think it'll be nearly impossible to get these cards, due to ssn required unless you go out and get an EIN,etc. Hopefully ssn won't be required to get these cards, because If It's not I already have an idea in mind on how to receive these cards. Doesn't look like these cards will appear anytime soon anyway. Good post!
