bank account problem
 

Sooo,


I opened up a new bank account at my sisters address "with her consent".

I got my letters and what not to sign and send back, but i have a problem, they want photo ID which is fine as i have this, but they also want proof of address which i dont have seen as i dont live there.

Any ideas what i should do......

Or should i sign up again in my current address then, move the bank to her address before bothering to sign up with paypal / eBay otherwise ill just get linked / limited again using my current address

While I don't really want to comment on this kind of dicey-family issue, who wants the proof of address? Pa yp al? or the bank?

Bank - you need to use something from your sister's address - ask her.

Pa yp al - you can get away with making a "Creative" document - chop it up or have someone do it for you.

Have you already used the bank account with pa yp al?

Why are you opening a bank account using your sisters address?

Just use your current address to open a bank account. PP cannot see what address you are using with your bank. It will not link you.

Because surely when it comes to confirming stuff, my bank account will need confirming based on location or something? No?

I had already used my previous bank account / card to register with paypal before hence why i needed a new one.

Again, if it's just pa yp al, confirming your bank will just be with the 2 deposits. IF you get limited and they ask for bank statement, well then...you have to be creative with the address on the statement - it is not hard...

creative part is easy if im honest, i always thought when signing up for paypal and doing the bank / card stuff, it confirms location of where card is registered

no they are just confirming you are in control of card or bank
