Withdraw to bank account still pending after 72 hours

I made my first withdrawal in PayPal on 16th June (after 8PM) for a fairly large amount (under £400 though) and the status has been pending since then.

I know the first withdrawal takes longer, but how long have most people had to wait on their first withdrawal to go to 'completed' status?

I did some on 16th and 17th and they are completed - around 7 on diff accs. - not new ones

Maybe you took out too much on 1st time.
Did you leave a bit in there? - ideally leave some in there so there are covered if a buyer makes a claim and for their fees etc.

Everytime I have done 1st time withdrawals in the past, it has been the same as doing them now - no delay

There was (I think) a system maintainance on 16 or 17th so maybe thats why.
Early days still and it was weekend so its still good.

ha ha - ur up at 3am odd - no work tomorrow!

I always thought the first withdrawal was supposed to take longer, and there was even some notification from PayPal saying transfers may take longer. I didn't really pay attention to it though.

I took pretty much all of it out bar a few quid. Every single person I know who uses PayPal withdraws everything as soon as it reaches their account, and I'd guess this is what most newbies do too.

I'm hoping it's because of the weekend and it'll show as completed soon. This account's been up for two months and is going well so I'd hate to lose it.

Oh, and I'm working now. I work as a Web Developer so am working on a couple of sites at the moment. :nerd:
