hi been following the stealth guide and need a little help getting past the PAYPAL "CONFIRM USER IDENTITY" STEP.

When I have put details in after 30 secs it says check was not complete.
Any ideas everyone?

see what area is in red after you try to submit. The only thing that has gotten me that message is i only put in the last 2 digits of the year i was using instead of the whole year.

nothing in red.....says the paypal checks did not come back passed or something along those lines...

No this page looks for you on a database...Dunno if this is a new thing but if it cannot find you you cannot verify....???
any ideas how to get past this?

This is for ebay/paypal uk?

So really you are attempting to make a paypal account using stealth info for the UK?

Are you aware that sometimes the confirmation may not work?

Yes paypal account for UK. Just as my first post had said. Anyway back to the post and the problem - You cannot get past this page as paypal do some kind of check . The name and address and date of birth has to match what is on the electoral list or you will not get verified.
This is the problem I am having. Or else they ask for official documents to be uploaded proving name/address/date of birth.
Any ideas how to get past this?

I have the same problem goodlad, do you or anyone knows the solution to it

what is your problem with list exactly?

they get error messages from paypal saying we cannot verify you... becoz they are using stealth accounts...


same with me... im just waiting for my entropay deposits to confirm my card which is taking long...

^ This is standard if PayPal do not find your details within public data, as already mentioned in this thread and many more. It is normal with stealth.

If you are running a stealth account then you might be asked for documents.

Either provide documents or face the fact that the account is toast.

Normally you hit the enter details button three times and then get the ID check thing, where you have to send in documents.

luckily i have cut my losses and just left it to say 'PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR IDENTITY' as the final step of the verification after 2 attempts...

i think i will just leave that and wait to confirm my card and re-add a new current account :/:suspicious:

Confirming your card wont lift the limit.

Nor will adding a new current account.

You will have to submit documents as I found .... like someone here said its either docs or the accoujt will be fried. Or u can always leave with a 1900 limit. However i wouldnt be surprised if the failing of finding one on the system raises a red flag. Luckily luckily I managed to get past this docs check and they lifted the 1900 limit. Having said that I expect it to be limited within a week or so as I am selling an item for 20 quid and it will probably raise a red hot flag.
It seems pp have different set of rules for everyone as the same overseas id Card was refused for my buddy yet accepted for me......
Paypal sent him an email that foreign id is not acceptable yet their site says it is.....

I wish there was an alternative to this pp crap. It's like a nightmare everytime i check my email not knowing if I got that dreaded email.....

^ Well any account passing the docs request, in theory, is a strong PayPal account.

If I was you I would be pleased to have passed the docs request. Though I never understood the part about "£20" being a "red hot flag"?!

My advice to people is to leave the £1900 limit in place when you first begin stealth, at least get some money and sales under your belt before being asked for docs. This gives new stealth members time to learn. :)

Anyway, good lad for getting passed docs but bad lad for going to this effort and then knowingly going to be raising "red hot flags" lol.

The 20 pound bit was a snipe at them......as i have passed the hard bit and will probably get flagged for recieving 20 quid

^ The more you learn in stealth, the more confortable you feel about things like this. Multiple accounts mixed with stealth knowledge will lower your pulse rate substantially. :)

well i have just done my final 'confirm your identity' on paypal and now they are asking me for docs...

wot i want to know is do they search your name and address only or you name, address and date of birth?

They cannot check your DOB - but if they use 192. co and the name is on their files it will show what decade you are (40, 50, 60, etc)

There is anecdotal evidence to show that they are using this service

@smellybelly, also you must know that not everyone is on the electoral register. You should do your own search to familiarize yourself with how these things work.

I supplied docs. But I got notice paypal will shut me down..

I uploaded them to my account on my new OS user account and PayPal emailed me back saying my appeal had been denied and they would be closing my account down.

Im not sure if it is because I created it on the same computer as other documents but they still denied it.

When I was 15 I signed up for eBay and PayPal in my mums name and after several months changed it over to mine when it was all verified.

Im planning to use my nans info and address to sign up for a new account and in time change the name.

So you are not planning on a long term account then?

Kieran im going to give you possibly the best bit of advice you will ever receive.

STOP everything you are doing with ebay/paypal.

READ the stealth guide.

READ the stealth guide again.

COME BACK to the forum with any questions you may have after READING the stealth guide...

then and only then think about creating anything with regards ebay/paypal :thumb:

What Imakemoney is telling you Kieran is that if you carry on as you are all that is going to happen is you will get lots of grief, lots of tears and no money. Stay away from your nans details.

I'm a granny, I would do anything for my grandkids but you are, if you don't mind me saying, talking like a pr*t!

Now, forget about using your nans details, get hold of the stealth guide and put some work in.

My co-stealthers on this forum are all getting sore heads from slapping their forheads.

You have to think out of the box looks like to me you haven't tried at all, you've got to read through every bit of the "Stealth Guide". To get a better understanding no point in posting endless questions about the same topic, because I'm afraid your going to get the same answer from people on here!. Like "IMakeMoney" said stay clear of using any family members details, because it's not wise at all to involve people close to you. When submitting documents you've got to scout around, there's plenty of services offering documents on the internet. You've got to be one step a head of eBay/PayPal if not you'll struggle big time!, so do yourself a favor and learn the techniques and you will master it.
