Open new PayPal to use on my site

Hey there everyone,

New to the forums but from what I've read so far, this seems like a terrific place. Lot's of brilliant advice!

I've been with eBay for 8 years on one main account until March this year. They suspended me for a Policy Breach (even though I'm still unaware of exactly what I did wrong as they reserve the right not to tell you). As a result, my PayPal account was screwed. Customers panicked and I lost so much money.

I opened a new bank account, started using my father's PayPal account (same initial as me), started selling on his eBay account. Started slow, got "new seller" limits removed, then listed about 35 items, was making quite a bit of money, then eBay suspended me (or my dad!) again. The new PayPal account went right down with it.

I'm done with eBay. Although it did provide the traffic that smaller auction sites don't have. But I'm over it. I'm still unaware of what I've done wrong as nobody from their team will talk to me. They think they own the law and don't give a damn about your personal situation. I've read the entire User Agreement and I've not breached it in any way. But, whatever.

I do have my own site and my customers want me to accept PayPal. People have been brainwashed into thinking it's the only way to accept money! I currently use Google Checkout but have received no payments through it as nobody wants to use it. I cannot afford a Merchant account at the moment.

Is there a way I can use PayPal ever again just for transactions on my site? I won't go near eBay again, not worth the trouble.
But the bank account I hold have all been used, on what are now, suspended PayPal accounts. Even if I got a new one, PayPal would still recognize my name and address.
Thanks for any advice :)

So, effectively, and in less than 1000 words, you want to know if you can have a new paypal account on your own site?

Probably you can.

Has this site ever had a paypal account attached to it B4?

If your answer is no, then you could make a paypal account for the site. BUT instead of having that paypal account in a 'personal' name, you could make it a business name.
(In fact, you should be looking to having premier or business paypal accounts in any case)
{Maybe not premier}. Your next step is a new bank account...
I would think you could have a business account with one of the High St banks already?
Then you can speak to them ,visit a branch, and have a bank account made in your business name.

It would appear you are not aware that in most cases, name & address are not seen by paypal.
The above would be workable, with a few tweaks :pop2:

If the answer is yes, & that paypal was linked to ebay but now limited, it will be more difficult
