paypal not knowing what another part of paypal is doing
 

My main 8 year old PayPal account was limited in March. Despite my efforts at the time to reinstate the account, I was told 3 times over the phone that, basically, I'm screwed, and the limitaion cannot be appealed against or removed.

Recived an email today that they need to confirm my identity or my account will be limited....:doh:

I had that same situation before, pretty weird.

It is dumb on their side - no choice to go stealth. Bunch of us have been there.

Why does this not surprise me in the least?

I was just going to leave it as I have no hope in it being reinstated. But is a worth a phone call to see if they will...?

The only problem is, other PayPal accounts with the same name/address informatiion have also been suspended, so even if they did reinstate this one, the system would pick up on the others and it'd be dead in the water again!

I hate payPay. I really hate PayPal.

Pa yp al is very good at irritating you at the worst possible time so work from that premise.

Well if you have linked accounts that have no hope of having limitations removed, well it is time to wait that dreaded 180 day wait and move onto a new PayPal account.
