Default Paypal Help

I have a problem with Paypal and I will describe it the best I could, I share rooms with my universty friends and we have Paypal accounts and we both use the same router.

My Paypal got permanently limited because it says that they system has detected I have multiple account and it will be a pain in the back side to phone them and talk about it, the phone costs will be expensive as they sometime hold the line and stuff.

So I have made a new Paypal account for online shopping in my next door neighbour house because he doesn't use Paypal so I use to sign up using in IP and purchase stuff without account getting permanently limited or banned, but I don't want to bother him every time I need to purchase something, I have to go into his.

So is there a way to hide my IP and log into the Paypal account that I registered in my next door neighbour and purchase stuff using my PC without Paypal detecting my IP and causing the account to be permanently limited again?

P.S. - I have contact them via email about the account permanently limited but they sent back saying 'Go to the Resolution Centre > Complete all steps listed in the Steps to remove limitations table' but that only works if the account is temporarily limited. I don't want to call them because the phone costs will be expensive and they usually won't get through straight away

First of all do you have static or dynamic IP?

Go to IPBurger.com and make a note of your ip. Then turn off your router, wait a couple of minutes and then turn it back on. Go to IPBurger.com again.

If the numbers are different you have a dynamic IP if they are the same you PROBABLY have a Static IP

Ring your ISP and ask them if its static or dynamic

You want Dynamic.

Time to get educated OP - read the threads all of this has been covered hundreds of times

When you made your new PP account using neighbour's IP, I hope you made a new windows user account to have fresh cookies - did you?

Mobile broadband dongle is a good option for you.

This and the rest of the stealth steps.

Oh, it doesn't cost much phoning PayPal from a land line.

Mobile broadband costs so I don't want to waste money, I only purchase stuff like once every 2-3 weeks so I have to keep paying while I am not using it, can I use a different router, will it have different IP?

The router is not what gives you your ip - that comes from your ISP. Who is your ISP?

@caterina, OK, I had no idea you only wanted to use your accounts for buying.

All I would do is test my ISP to see if is dymanic, as mentioned, then once I confirmed this. I would open a new eBay/PayPal just for buying, it is easily done.

Go test now.

Yes, when I restart router, I get a new IP address so that means I have dynamic IP?

Yes it does. So apply the method of using a different IP address for sperate Stealth accounts.

enter your router settings, click the settings tab, then advanced setting sub tab, continue to advanced settings button, home network, IP addresses.

In that page you can define/manage your own network range.

You have default range

another set range

manual configure.

you will be on the default range now

just check the button on the middle option and save the settings and close the page and turn your router off for 1min, when you reboot it you will have a completely new IP Range this is much better than just turning your router off because you have no chance of getting the same ip as your banned account did.
