| | | ocaaaaa | 07-08-2011 11:17 PM | PayPal 1900 GBP Limit - How long to remove? Started selling on eBay again around a week ago after a long break under a new business / new PayPal acc. (LTD Company)
Now nearly reached the 1900 limit already - got 300 of it left but will probably hit that within the next 24 hours or so.
I've submitted all the documents yesterday via Upload (Passport scan, Ltd Co registration certificate, proof of address) and was wondering how long it would take to finish this process? Going to be a hassle if I'm not able to receive payments !
Would I be able to switch all my listings to a different PayPal account if the limit doesn't get lifted quickly enough?(I also have personal account). But currently around 200 listings so not sure if I can change that without ending and relisting?
Thanks in advance for advice! |
| GrannyT | 07-09-2011 02:36 AM | Passport? I run Ltd. Co. accounts and I have NEVER been asked for a passport or DL when operating them. Reg certificates and addresses etc yes but no personal id documents
 |
| ocaaaaa | 07-09-2011 03:26 AM | Yeah they requested driving license / passport as proof of ID.
Anyway , got an e-mail around anyone ago that the receiving limit has been lifted! |
| ShadyOne | 07-09-2011 06:17 AM | Good going on the lifting of the £1900 receiving limit, if it is a stealth account that is. :) |
| ocaaaaa | 07-09-2011 06:47 AM | Not a stealth account, just a standard Business account!
I don't have any reason to have a stealth account (that I can think of!) |
| ensignia | 07-09-2011 08:56 AM | I'm approaching this limit too, am dreading sending in the docs. Hopefully it'll be a quick glance rather than a full on check-everything-with-a-magnifying-glass jobbie. |
| GREEN LION | 07-09-2011 09:33 AM | I sent document for 2 different account 1 got lifted after 40 min another one 4 days now nothing happened (but i received an email that they received my documents) i think its not as scary as i tought i would be to send documents.i have 3 fully verifyed with no limits paypal now :D |
| paypalpains | 07-11-2011 08:46 AM | Be careful , I had my limits lifted, then they stung me with all these other requirements, proof of posting, stock inventory, suppliers name/address, invoices etc. the fuc***S done me on two accounts. grrrrrrrrrrrrr |
| ocaaaaa | 07-12-2011 01:25 AM | Well this is not a stealth account so I have nothing to worry about really - if they require any additional information I can provide them with this easily!
I wuouldn't be happy to divulge supplier etc. details to them but can prove over 2000 lines of physical inventory! |

I don't have any reason to have a stealth account (that I can think of!) | Where ebay is concerned every seller needs at least a couple building up in the background, as you have no idea what they will be doing next.
You are dealing with a company that has no selling experience telling you how to do your business. It is a bit like listening to your accountant on the same thing, so it is always better to be safe than sorry. |

well i listed 5 item on 1 of the account and sold them almost the same day.everything is ok so far.ive received 4 + feedback out of 5 item sold and im not planing to list anything on that account for another 2 months.
they shouldnt ask for supplier info, its some information that i spend money& LOTS of time to find them, and now they just ask send them the supplier info.i wish i could work for paypal since they get everything so easy. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:58 PM. | |
