Will Paypal charge me for using my debit card to fund a largish Elance job under a grand?

So if I read this right you want to pay someone through paypal and the money will come from your card.

They will not charge you they will charge the person who gets paid, so do not be surprised if the person you're hiring adds a 3% charge on to the fee for using paypal.

PP charges sellers i.e. payment receivers - not the buyer.
