Linking existing PP account to new eBay account?

This might be a stupid question and I did a search but could not find an answer to my specific question.

Can I link an existing and verified PayPal account to a new eBay account??
There is no problem with the PP account whatsoever.
The eBay account is a new account with my middle name and a new e-mail address.

Please help :attention:

Has the PP account ever been attached to another suspended EB account? If not, you should be totally fine.

NO, it has never been attached to any suspended eBay account.
So if this is not the case then I am fine. Thanks.

Not such a good idea. Info ideally should match.

Why are you thinking of doing this?

swiss61 08-10-2011 08:50 AM

Well, my surname, address and obviously bank details match.

I had a really bad feedback on my 'normal' eBay account with very personal details and eBay won't remove it.
So I made my feedback profile private but can't sell anymore and thought I start selling on my 'new' eBay account with I had about a month but never bought or sold anything on it.

I'd hold off for a day or so. You could get that drama with the feedback fixed.

It's not as simple as you think it might be with a new account starting to sell.

Have you read about MC010 and such for new accounts? Are you prepared there?

swiss61 08-10-2011 09:18 AM

MC010?! No, no idea what that is. Can you shed some light please?

I guess the money from selling on that account would be on hold for a certain time?

You made it sound like it was not attached to anything. Story changed, now listen to GB.

All info matches? New eb ay does not have an old suspended pp attached? Does the OLD good pp have an OLD BAD eb ay attached before? If all questions are answerable satisfactorily, you might be ok.

swiss61 08-10-2011 04:45 PM

When did I change my story??? Lol .. (must have missed that)

No, rsot .. the new eBay does not have a suspended pp attached and the old pp does have have an old eBay attached but not a bad one (just didn't wanna use it at the moment because of that bad feedback that was very personal and eBay refusing to remove).

I have made my feedback on old eBay account public again though and was lucky to have another two very good feedback added to make the bad feedback move further down and that red sign is not straight away visible.

I might just de link the old good pp again from the new eBay.
