Adding a new Bank account to Paypal
 

Hi, might be a silly question

'Background' Like others iv been banned, but back on eBay under a friends address etc... Currently using a PO box for return items.

On my PayPal i use my friends card (they set up the bank)

Now the question - On PayPal there's an option to set up Bank accounts, this is currently in their name. If i add one which only requires the sort/account (this would be a brand new bank) would this be fine, and not cause any hassle or possible suspension. Only want to withdraw the money it my own account.

If i click on update which is next to bank accounts - Then ADD - It asks for Sort Code/Account number - Add bank account

This would be strictly for withdraws only.

You can add a second bank account as you said. I would make sure that the account does accept Direct Debit and you get it confirmed. (Just makes it easier for transferring) :pop2:

So there is no way that ebay or paypal will actually see my name if i just add a second bank account for withdraws only?

what bank? as some are supposed to give away more info than is healthy.

Halifax will be the bank probably. Natwest can be quite dodgy! Paypal only needs sort/account to add a bank account for withdraws, im guessing this is right?

Also i will have to confirm the bank, I wont be using it for anything else but withdraws! So my name details would not be on paypal?

Halifax and Natwest, never heard any problems and you're right about the sort code and bank account.

So it will be good just to add them in and i can go ahead and withdraw fine into my own? obviously the account is registered under my friends name/ my business name with their card!

Best to ask B4 you do 'touch' accounts. Always easier to advise rather than repair. :juggle:

Use the name under which the PA YP AL account is registered.

Both of these accounts are fine for stealth purposes.
