Limited PP acc- funds ready for withdraw, cant add CC

I have this dumb problem. paypal said that my funds are now ready to be withdrawn, but I can't add a credit card, because my account is limited and adding a CC is forbidden. I sent a mail to the support waiting for an answer. meanwhile I am curious if anybody else has had this problem and if you got it sorted.

I guess the best way is to call them and to ask them to allow you to add CC on the account while they are talking to them over the phone
