Account limited: how to get funds?

Greetings,

I'm having some serious issues with PayPal at the moment. I stumbled upon this website whilst trawling through Google looking for some guidance. I'm hoping that someone here will be able to help me.

I created a stealth PayPal account/ PayPal limited my account., I had no way to appeal the limitation. I attempted to change the name on the account to my real name by uploading a couple of identification documents. This wasn't good enough for PayPal, and now my limitation cannot be appealed against.

This leaves me in a tricky situation. I am aware that I have to wait 180 days before my funds are released. The issue is that I don't have a bank account or credit card connected to the account to withdraw the funds to after the 180 days is up. I think this rules out the option of having a cheque sent to my address.

I've been researching the likes of prepaid credit cards and whatnot. I thought that I could set up a prepaid credit card using the same name that the PayPal account is under. I then, unfortunately, realised that (I think) I can only withdraw the funds to a bank account. This is where I have a few questions:

Do prepaid credit cards offer a sort code and account number so I can somewhat get PayPal to let me withdraw the funds to a prepaid credit card to then withdraw them at an ATM machine?

Any information on this matter is highly appreciated. I just want to withdraw the funds. Regards

Thanks for the reply. Can I open an e-saver under a name without providing ID then? I'm aware that I made quite a few rookie mistakes, but I wasn't aware at the time the severity of the situation or that resources like this existed. I'll get reading up for future use.

Cheers, guys.

Missing the exact way to do it. You make the bank account in your real name, then put the sort code & attach number on paypal. Name is not seen. :)

OK, thank you. Sorry for all the ridiculous questions. Once the money is in my e-saver, how will I withdraw it? That should be all. Thanks for everything and see you in 180 days, haha.

Ideally you'd open an e-saver with a bank your already with - that you have online banking with so you can just open it quickly.

NEVER even attempt to open any sort of bank account with stealth information. Its not even neccessary because as GB states paypal cant see the name on the bank account - all they see is the sort code and account number.

After any amount of time, you can always try to release earlier by giving them a phone call.

I've set up an e-savings account with my bank successfully. I plan to contact PayPal after 45 days to try and have the funds released soon. Should I add the e-savings account to my PayPal account before or after I contact them?

Also, once I've 'parted ways successfully' as it were or whatever, will PayPal delete my account or will my information forever be under the radar with my account permanently limited?

No - wait until the funds are available to you

No such thing as parting ways successfully. in that, the info used is blacklisted & kept forever.

Also, dont push them for a release after 45 days. That can be enough to really annoy them. All it tends to do is set a user up for disappointment.:juggle:
