about stealth IDs..

when a photo ID is asked for by p ayp al, and if we send a stealth ID, using your own legit uk passport, but with the all important passport numbers etc blacked out, will that be not accepted by p ayp al?

im just tossing between a creative uk driving licence or a uk passport....
