paypal direct debit agreement risk?
 

Ive read a couple of threads about this but im still not sure, im trying to link my stealth paypal and ebay and it keeps sending me to fill out the direct debit agreement, im sure I didnt have to do this last time, the problem is the paypal name/address is at the other end of the country to the bank address which I have to enter into the form, does this get sent to the bank with all the details? Its Co-Op bank, I dont want to screw up my new accounts!:pry:

Doesn't get sent to the bank - the direct debit agreement allows for pp to both deposit and WITHDRAW from the bank - only way it goes to the bank is if you decide to raise fraud issues or challenge stuff.

So the fact the two addresses are 200 miles apart wouldnt cause unrest on paypals part?

Now while I am not 100% familiar about your banking address role on pa yp al UK site, I have not read about problems with this throughout the forums here. I am sure folx have bank all over the country. I would not see it as a problem.

I have always since i started put the banks main address (head office).

I filled the form out this morning, awaiting the two deposits in my account now

Give HQ address, internet banking usually only has one address....sortcodes are not branch based with internet ones too..

they can tell if they really want to by sortcode if it is a local branch, however saying that, it is usually not an issue. People move and hold accs at the original branch, it is just the holding branch, they do all their business via their nearest branch or online anyway....
