just an update. have not received the direct debit mandate by paypal yet on any of my accounts and its coming up to 2 weeks

Just one thing quickly are you aware of any UK savings accounts that I can set up that take a direct debit instructin? Apparently these are the only sort of acounts that will work with paypal verification. I am not willing to open loads of checking accounts. I would rather use something like the WAMU account that you guys can use in the states. Have you heard of any decent alternatives that I can use in UK to verify a paypal account?

I just called Natwest and they said you can make unlimited amount of saving accounts and they have direct debit as well.

Are you sure about atwest online savers accepting dd? have you tried this with payal? is it working?
