| | | scrubberbytrade | 11-01-2011 10:17 AM | Good news from paypal Just thought I would share my good news...had an email from paypal, they are no longer holding my funds...I did not even ask them..so was well chuffed.. |
| eBay King | 11-01-2011 10:29 AM | Good. I had this on 2 different accounts the other day also.
They said that the 21 day holds are not continuing. However be aware that they constantly review and determine if the holds will stay or go. It can come back, but I am enjoying it while it lasts. |
| Stigger | 11-01-2011 11:36 AM | PayPal and good news in the same sentence, WOW Wonders never cease  |
| Bunneh | 11-01-2011 11:40 AM | How long did you have the accounts for before they decided to lift the holds?
Or is in on all accounts where they are not holding funds any more? |
| scrubberbytrade | 11-01-2011 12:17 PM | Hi, I opened the account in september...was totally shocked to be honest with you.. |

Yes they can.
Just keep your nose clean and will be fine.
Hope you have or are making other accounts now for later use.

| biggunn | 11-02-2011 12:51 AM | Paypal will add the 21-day hold back in a heart beat... |
| GreenBean | 11-02-2011 02:35 AM | Potential is there but if the account 'behaves', the holds tend to stay away. |
| jbluntz | 11-02-2011 02:43 AM | I tend to like the holds actually, makes it easier to manage, without the holds it's to easy to take out too much without leaving enough to cover fees and refunds which can cause the account to go down alot faster and also taking too much out too soon can also cause paypal to get limited, once the holds clear you're in much safer position to start withdrawing funds. |

Should not happen if you keep them moderately active. |
| ensignia | 11-03-2011 02:53 PM | I had the holds and then they were removed. However I've just received an email saying they will be holding them again!
They really make selling in a high-risk category very, very difficult. |

| ensignia | 11-03-2011 03:29 PM | I know why, you heathens :p
I was just voicing my displeasure that some common sense is not used when applying these holds. Ah well, it's only a mild inconvenience anyway. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:19 PM. | |
