Payp Pal linked my account but now it's fine?
Hi,
So heres the deal, I set up a new stealth account on eBay and Paypal, started to list on ebay after about a month and things went very well. I then phoned ebay and asked them to up my selling limits which they did no problem.
I then sold on for another month and reached my selling limits again so I called ebay again to up my limits as I wanted to sell more. I then got put on hold for about 10 mins and was told I could no longer list anything at all as I had been linked with a banned paypal account and gave me 3 old email addresses they had linked me with.
So I checked my account and although they hadn't canceled any of my listing it said that I can't list anything else. I decided to canel all the listings anyway so now im left with a an ebay acount that I cant list any new itmes on.
She had said on the phone I may be able to get the issue resolved with pay pal, I decided to wait a few dyas and see what happened and as I suspected pay pal asked me to check my email and change my paypal password due to "security issues", they then asked me to varify my phone number, so I did that as well (my work numner) and then I was able to withdraw the £250 they had in my account.
I did some digging around and it looks as if I accidently used a card on my paypal that is linked to my current and banned address, it's also in my name. (although I had no trouble selling wlike this until recently)
Thing is that my pay pal account has been back to normal now for a week or so and I actualy recieved a couple of late payments from buyers on my linked ebay account and I have withdrawn them to my account.
Am I know safe to phone ebay back and say I have sorted the problem with pay pal and can they please reinstate my selling alowance?
I figure I havent got anything to loose as I cant use it for much else anymore?
