Basically as title says, I've noticed when I've sold things on a new pp account sometimes it does not get held, sometimes it does, does anyone know what triggers this or is it just something automatic after a few days of selling?

...And welcome to the forums - don't remem formally introducing you but yes, GB is right on point. A lot depends on what you sell, source of payment, whether or not your account is risky to pp systems...etc.
Not really sure what triggers them, activity i guess however i have noticed on a few accounts where all payments are getting held if i remove the bank account further payments are not held untill i add the bank account back but then they are intermittent.
