My last Payal account was permanently limited as there was more than one account made on 1 IP address because I live in college and share a room with friends.

But now my friends have moved out so I've got the room for myself and have switched to a different ISP so my IP address is different.

I've made a new Paypal/eBay account with my friend address so when I purchase item online, it will be delivered to his address but now I want to change my new Paypal address so it delivers to my address but the address is the same as the one on my permanently limited account, if I change it, will my new Paypal account be locked or limited?

So your details are the same apart from the address?

Now you want to change it so the address is the same as the original dead/limited account?

So essentially you would be making all of the details the same?

Best (and perhaps politest) advice you will get will be to buy the guide...there are gaps in your approach.

I think what FizzyFish is saying OP is that right now you are not being a very good advert for the British education system.

You need to do an awful lot more research before going any further - if you don't your next thread will be "help - I've been suspended and I don't know why"

you cannot change it to the banned address,.

but it is inconvenient not to get parcels sent direct to you of course, you could change it to a variation of the banned address though,
make the post code slightly different perhaps eg on the last letter or correct address but business name, and put a sign up with it and tell postie, a package should get to you,

try a test run by posting a letter. There are risks to this approach, from a seller saying it is not a real address to you not getting your mail...

other than that, just get a fresh new address, what about your home one for buying at your parents?

My permanently limited Paypal account uses my real name and address but on my new Paypal account it uses a different name and my friend address

get a mail box at a post-office then go and get your packages.

Changing info is not the greatest of ideas - go new, get a po box if you need to.

Could I change my current address to my own one that was on my other account that was permanently limited and say my friend has moved in with me to live and all his order packages will come to my address?

P.S - I need a way because I don't want to bother my friend

You are going to link the 2 accounts if using the same address (previously used for limited account)
You need to avoid using that address for good. All the above given ideas are good to try, choose the one best for you and go ahead...

P.S - Having a PO box will be expensive

As stated before Casterina, it is a bad idea using this address. It has been said in many posts in the forum by More experienced members that even if you alter data in your account, pp has all the data and they keep it.
So, my sincerer advice is to avoid that address permanently.
anyways, it is your choice to listen to it or not...

If I start to sell future on, could I use my permanently limited account address?

P.S - Hoping there's a way to solve this so I don't have to keep bothering my friend but if there's not then have to carry on

Casterina - are you listening to the advise you are being given? - Don't do it, don't think about it, don't even let it come into your thought patterns, forget it, come up with another idea, think of something else.

Otherwise just do what you want to do and we can advise you when it all goes wrong - as it will!!!

Do NOT use the permanently limited account address AGAIN, period.Only use it again if you want to get banned again & then come back on here to tell us about it.:pop2:

i see people in this thread that have said it is o.k to move.

The OP's friend would be moving, thats it.

A quick phone call to EBY and PP a week before should have it sorted.

a better option is to leave how it is

However saying that it is not the best option, the best option would to be give your friend the account back and create your own, leave your friend out of it if you value friendship. :doh:
