Default Possible paypal threat/scam ?

Earlier today I received a phone call to a mobile number linked to one of my STEALTH accounts. I went to answer the phone but missed the call. The number was strange and I assumed it was paypal. I did a quick search online however and am quite concerned over what i've found. I'm hoping some of you on here can put my mind at rest.

The phone number was

+35314369001

A quick google search found a link with paypal however not in the way i'd expect.

I found this website.

http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/35314369001

Which seems to indicate mass fraud. Basicly anyone called from this number has a huge charge taken out of there credit card. Now I have used a VCC.

So I assume i'm safe there. I quickly phoned up my bank to check if any funds were removed or used in anyway and once again safe there too.
However I'm wondering if anyone else has had this happen and if it'd be possible for them to take it from my bank account?

As you can see from reading on there the entire scam seems rather strange and not even logical. But people are being scammed/ripped off.

Have any of you been called from this number and is it really linked to paypal? At first I thought they might of just been "checking on me" to make sure the number was real. I hadn't taken out any LARGE desposits. (less than 60 pounds) Any ideas?

Do not worry about paypal taking money out your bank.

The number is a could be a paypal number or something else nobody knows for sure especially on that website.

ahh thanks. Could it be just a simple verification check on my phone as stated in the handbook?

They do not call for nothing.... something triggered it.
It could be as simple as a new account receiving a bit of money.

You have to learn to relax and not to worry too much...
Think that even if it goes down, its so easy to make a new one and move on...or it will become once you get used to it.

The account is doing fine, I have a fair few accounts. The only activity of that week was me withdrawing 50 pounds. So Maybe that was it. But theres been nothing done to my account since. My worry was since i'd googled the number and found that thread of everyone claiming money had been used from there account that it had happened to me.

I think this account should last for another 4/5 months Perhaps.

It can last forever if you look after it
