Default Not associated with your home country!!!!!!!!

I followed ASPKIN's rule and had a great success.
But recently, when I creat new ebay account and when I try to sell on ebay, ebay said:
*******************************************
Thank you for participating in global trade on eBay. In order to begin selling your items on eBay sites not associated with your home country, you will need to take a few steps:

1) You will need to have a PayPal account that has been "Verified". Click on your country of eBay registration below to understand how to complete that process.

2) Once you have a PayPal account that is "Verified", please link your verified PayPal account to your eBay account.
****

************************************************

But I registered on Ebay US and LIST ON EBAY US, do I still have to have a verified paypal account? please help, thank you.

Welcome to the forum.. What country do you live in? You can put your country's flag and that will help with info for you.

Because your new ebay account has been created after 11/20/2007,
it requires a paypal account in order for you to sell.

I live in China, but I used US's IP address and registered US eBay accounts. They all worked well on 2007.

The eBay accounts I created on DEC, 2007 worked well and don't require a paypal account in order to sell.

Then I have some holiday and when I come back on Feb, 2007, when I try to sell, they require a Paypal account.

As I'm in China, I have some difficulty to have a VERIFIED US PAYPAL ACCOUNT. I think I can't use another country's Verified Paypal Account to get my US eBay account working.

Thank you for your help and any suggestion?

My Game Plan in the Past:
1, register an eBay account, follow ASPKIN's rule.
2, selling on eBay, when I list, I use Paypal as payment method, and use the email address as paypal's email address. But this email address is not registered on Paypal.
3, When the items were sold, I will register a Chinese Paypal Account, then add the email address above to the Chinese paypal account. This account used my real information.
4, That Paypal account will go down in about 1 hour. I will then have to wait 180 days to withdraw the money in that paypal account.
5, register new account, follow the step 1 to 4.
I know I have to wait 180 days to receive the money, but it worked well and I can't find a better way.

My future Difficulty:
1, The eBay account I registered asked verified paypal account to be added. I think I can't add a Chinese Verified Paypal account to it. But as I can't get a lot of US bank account to verify Paypal account, I can't get new Ebay account.
2, If I buy some US bank account, and use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ information like name, address, etc, and using that paypal to receive the money. If that paypal account is restricted, can I still get the money in the paypal account after 180 days?
3, or any other good suggestions? thank you.

Also l can do wholesale, contact me if you're interested.

Do the ebay accounts have US addresses? Do you have access to any currency
other than the yuan?

Do the ebay accounts have US addresses?
YES, ALL US IP, US NAME, US ADDRESS, US Phone. They do work on 2007 so I think that may not be the problem.
Do you have access to any currency other than the yuan?
YES, I register Paypal account after the item is sold. That paypal account is just for collecting the money and then it will be suspended.

Look at this Prepaid Virtual VISA Cards by EntroPay
A lot of UK & other non-US users use this to verify paypal.

You can create a selling account with a verified paypal account.....
less likely for 180 day suspension.

GreanBean,
I know that. and I can get Verified Chinese Paypal account.
The problem is that the eBay account is registered in US. it is US ebay account. If I link another country's Paypal account to it, I think it will be suspended.
So my difficulty is how to get a Verified US Payapl account.

Has your government any laws about making O/S bank accounts? If there are
no laws, you can get a prepaid debit card http://netspend.com

To do this you need a government ID from your country. If you look at
this site, all the info about opening the account is you are a non-US
citizen is in the FAQ section.

GreenBean:
It cost too much time and money to have such accounts. If I can buy any US bank account just to go through the verification, it will be great! In the past I can buy them at the price about $10, but now it seems that Paypal banned such bank account...
Any others meet my problem? any suggestions?

Default eBay goes headlines with taking down item

I thought this was hilarious:

Sisters: EBay Pulled Corn Flake Auction

CHICAGO (AP) — Two sisters from Virginia who are selling a corn flake shaped like the state of Illinois on eBay say the online auction Web site canceled their listing.

"Something really dramatic just happened with our corn flake," Melissa McIntire, 23, of Chesapeake, Va., said Tuesday, explaining that the sisters received an e-mail from eBay saying the state-shaped cereal was in violation of the site's food policy.

But the flake is back. The sisters say the Land of Lincoln twin they discovered in a box of Kellogg's Frosted Flakes is still available after all.

McIntire and her 15-year-old sister Emily said they've relisted the flake on eBay, but this time they're auctioning a coupon redeemable for it, instead of the cereal itself. Bidding early Wednesday was at $116.11.

Copycat items have popped up on eBay, including corn flakes shaped like Hawaii and Virginia. There's also a potato chip shaped like Florida, and Illinois corn flake paraphernalia, including T-shirts and buttons.

A telephone message left with San Jose, Calif.-based eBay Inc. after business hours on Tuesday was not immediately returned.

Bidding on the 2-inch-by-1 3/8-inch flake was to end Thursday.

At first, i thought it was a publicity stunt so people would be like "oh, i can sell anything" and there would be new customers. Now I know that ebay is truly out to get everyone who wants to make a profit.
