paypal limited!
 

ok had the account 2 weeks and they sent me an email yesterday saying they were closing my account due to security issues? i phoned and asked why but they wouldnt tell me!
what annoys me though is the name and address, date of birth etc on account are legit (mother inlaws), when i opened account i had to send in utility bill and passport...and they still close me. the man at paypal was reasonable and he said he will ask them to review again...

but i doubt anything will come off it...now have to wait 90 days i was told for my money! (it did say 180 in email) but he told me 90 days it would be due in may! ebay account still intact? is it possible to use another paypal address that my friend has or am i better just closing ebay aswell? i cant even pay my ebay fees...owe them £100 and its all in paypal.

or any other suggestions? told paypal i can send in anything they want, has it ever been known for them to change their mind?

i told them i think the problem could be to do with my laptop as i took it into work....came home and i have had to try and clean it...think it has a virus...running very very slow....thats when he said it could be i will get them to review it again! im only hoping....fingers crossed...but dont expect anything to come of it.

Security issues usually means that they think you are linked with another account that has been limited or they think you've participated in potential fraud but have no evidences of both cases. You cannot appeal it, move onto new stealth accounts.

yes but i dont have another account that was limited? and there has been no fraudulent activity on my account? paypal are just a joke! i was actually quite surprised they said they would send it away for review again ... doubt it will get me anywhere though...paypal always win! pain in the butt is waiting 90 days for your money! how do they pay this back?

Usually into the bank attached to paypal.

well you wouldnt believe it! ... i put in a complaint to paypal on sunday...guess what? my accout has had the limation removed!!!!!!!! i am back up and running!!!! god cant believe it !!
