Leave enough to cover any outstanding e/b fees and a bit for refunds/chargebacks etc

Ebayorbust 02-14-2012 09:47 AM

£238.47. Any more than this and your account will be limited for sure. :p

first withdrawal

dont empty the account

do it in smaller amounts man, slowly increase things

nothing could happen but so could everything....its a big risk IMO to withdraw that much straight away

yes it is a new account week old

crafty1 02-14-2012 03:08 PM

Take like £75 out and leave it for a while like a week or so and then take another £75 or so.

You should be fine I was in that position a few weeks ago and used the express withdrawal as a test and all went fine, money in my account the next day

meVebay 02-14-2012 03:12 PM

Personally I wouldn't use the express withdrawl.

Especially if the name on the bank doesn't match, but thats another issue.

I'd withdraw £150 if there is £250 in there.

As long as you've added tracking etc and aren't selling GHD's or P90x then I'd say you should be fine!

GTB 02-14-2012 04:22 PM

daz

slowly but surely buddy

no need to take risks unless you have to!!!

crafty1 02-14-2012 05:48 PM

I've used the express withdrawal without any problems....and the details don't match.

sometimes it could depend on the bank.

Are you allergic to posting in the UK paypal forum? :violin:

As for a withdrawal mine would be £91. I leave a balance always :amen:

koko007 02-15-2012 03:06 AM

I think 100 should be ok, I have a account which is 5 month old but starting selling 1 month ago as soon as I get 100 in pp I transfer 50 to my bank never had issue I keep £50 to £80 all the time.

rsot 02-15-2012 12:09 PM

Always leave a balance - what was the amount of each sale?

darryl22 02-15-2012 08:38 PM

what is this express withdrawal can somebody clafify this issue

GreenBean 02-16-2012 03:49 AM

@darryl,

You get conned into paying £5 to supposedly get your funds quickly ie by express ;).

Promise is the funds get to the account within 36 hours.

Yes, some users here have been lucky. But too many more have waited longer than a regular transfer. paypal also made a half baked promise to refund the fee if no express delivery.
They have £15 of my money

Callidus 02-17-2012 02:36 AM

OK on all my accounts however old they are I never withdraw more than £50 and always leave a balance in there... took me 8 days to get £400 out but I didnt get limited... as many others say slowly but surely.

It is the way if you do it right you can be successful

rsot 02-17-2012 10:32 AM

Any decision made darryl?

darryl22 02-17-2012 01:43 PM

right thanks everyone
best bet it not to pay the £50 pound and withdraw say 70 - 80 pounds and let it complete.

@hdavey10 did you withdraw 50 pounds a day ? or 2 transaction a day

Imakemoney 02-17-2012 02:13 PM

This is a question of how long is a piece of string.....

But yeah dont go crazy on, slower you can take it the better....all depends how bad you need the cash :peace:
