Hi,

i had my pay pal suspended in November for something stupid but i really want to carry on selling.

I was wondering if you guys can give me a little help and tell me if what i am planning on doing will work.

the account i got limited was in my name in my old address. I have recently moved to a new home so i was thinking about setting up an account in my name, my new house as the address, a different date of birth, different bank account numbers ect.

so all that would remain the same is my name.

Do you think i will get away with this?

Your new paypal can not go near your old ebay. You will get limited.

You need both ebay/paypal new.

What if anything are you doing about fixing your computer? Have you cleared cookied & set up a new user account :juggle:

Forgot to mention that but yes. The same with eBay. Brand new eBay account and I have completly wiped my computer and starting again from scratch.

New everything. The only thing which will be the same is my name.

How does this sound?

Welcome to the forums. All the best as you read around. The stealth guide is great to follow. EVERYTHING should be new, unused and fresh to prevent linkage.

everything is sorted now. everything is new. except my name.

Do you think this will be OK? they cant link just on a name can they? otherwise all the people with me name would be limited haha

i sent my doc's in a few weeks ago and yesterday i got an email saying "paypal appeal denied" :( i dont understand what went wrong!

i dont know what happened. i am GUTTED! couldnt sleep a wink last night.

Then everything is not new is it?

I would also guess that other details were the same as your previous ones

What docs did you send them and were they as per all your registered details?

Paypal does reject appeals.

What else did they say?

What were you doing to get limited on your new stealth account :juggle:

Try to work out now so you dont repeat the errors.

I sent in passport and a bank statement and they all matched the details on my new PayPal. The only thing that was the same as my old paypal was my name.

I rang up to see if I could find out what the problem was and was told they don't need to give me a reason.

Not sure what to do now :( any ideas why? Could it be my name?

The email I recieved:

accounts for potential risks. After reviewing *your account, we have
decided to close it because of security issues.

We are making every effort to minimise any disruption to your business.

If your PayPal account balance is zero, and you have no unresolved buyer
complaints or chargebacks, your account will remain limited.

It could have been the name or something else on the docs that is 'unique' that had not been changed and had been recorded by p/p previously.

As for what you do now, move on and make ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts, the old one is dead and gone

Or something that had been changed was not done properly or did not 'match' other data on their records.

OP never did say what the 'something stupid' he did was.

I set up my first stealth with all different info but kept my name the same and it got limited within a month due to payment reversals I believe and once a human looked over my account they linked my name... even though I'd changed my DOB!!

Don't make the same mistake I did!

how do you know they linked you,maybe they suspended because of the payment reversals

Payment reversalS...the s to make it plural is DEF not good for pp.
