| Bunneh | 03-09-2012 08:42 AM | Unable to use Bank Account for payments? I was trying to pay for postage using my paypal account and it wont let me use instant bank transfer for payments, It only allows me to use the Credit Card on on the account.:noidea:
It is the first time this has ever happened to me on one of my paypal accounts?
The paypal account is verified, I have also verified/confirmed the Credit Card (with them charging the card and putting a code on my statement.)
All the stealth details match up.
I have tried my partners ebay/paypal account which also does the same?
Any ideas??:ranger: |
NoneOther | 03-09-2012 11:09 AM | If this is a stealth account then you don't want to use instant bank transfer because it will disclose the account holders name, are you saying you've opened a bank account with a STEALTH NAME!:noidea: |
how would one do such a thing |

Bunneh | 03-09-2012 01:38 PM | But Halifax and Natwest dont share info with paypal? I have also used this instant transfer in the past fine? so why doesn't it work now ? |
on a stealth account
the bank info & paypal info/name wont match
so using bank to pay on a stealth paypal will show paypal your real name
and they will see it dont match paypal
heard ppl say that they did and had no issues but i wouldn't do this
its not worth the risk |

GOLDEN RULE NO.1: Never let p/p take funds directly from a stealth bank account. |
Bunneh | 03-09-2012 01:49 PM | Ok, i understand they share this information but what i am trying to ask, is i am not getting the option to use INSTANT BANK TRANSFER? It only allows me to pay by echeque and Credit Card and the Instant Bank Transfer option is Greyed Out.
When i Click on 'use this option' Which is displayed under the greyed out word, It says i need to add a Debit/Credit Card for this, but i have a card on the account already.
I have been able to use the bank transfer option before on other accounts but my account and my partners account no longer accept this. :noidea:
My partners account is NOT a stealth account and still does not offer this?
:help: |

:help: | Banking systems are currently being updated to comply with new legislation requiring all bank transfers to be completed the same day. Not all banks are geared up for this yet.
Oh! and p/p have already stated that they will not comply with the new UK legislation on this as they are not UK based. |
Bunneh | 03-09-2012 01:56 PM | Sigh.... Im not Withdrawing, I am trying to pay for items :tears: |

Bunneh | 03-09-2012 02:12 PM | My Partners Ebay AND Paypal account is NOT STEALTH it is ALL REAL information.

They are basically all withdrawals, the terminology may differ but they are all withdrawals. |

It's like this if the bank you are paying from uses the new fast transfer system (which nat west does) and the receiving bank (p/p) does not use it then the option can not be used. |
my bad
stealth info matches:doh:
when paying with bank it is gonna be an echeque as far as i am aware
still if you want it to be instant, use a prepaid credit card |
have a look at what you have as your main funding source
change it to the card and that my help |
