verify paypal account question
 

last week I opened up a co-op bank account with my real name and real address, now, when I open a paypal account I will have to put in my stealth info, but with the real sort code and real account number.

If I remember paypal will want at some time verify my account.

How can this be done if I have stealth name and address in paypal.
wont paypal detect that the account number and so forth wont match up with the info I put into paypal.

Paypal cant see the name & address associated with the account.

They only see the account number & sort code.

only exception is if money leaves your account and goes to paypa l......then they see your real stuff

i been reading here about payp al depositing for the verification process and then retrieving the money back....


they not only get there few cents back per account(which is probably a whole bunch) they get to see information that they would not see otherwise

i have not ran into this yet

also, i know some banks don't like the different name depositing money into your account and some could care less...i use local independent banks and they could care less, as long the money comes to them

I see, well I never put money from my bank account into PP, and never will on the basis of what you said. Im not sure if you know Co-op, its a Mini Market here in the UK, like 7 11 in the U.S.

The co-op have now gone into the bank business, anyone know anything about co-op and their policy when it comes to this.

Coop is probably the best bank or one of them for receiving money quickly and its fine to receive in a different name.
