NoneOther | 05-07-2012 06:27 PM | What was the reason they gave?

Like mentioned, chrome does have problems. Would never be my choice of OS.
Anything happen that might have caused this?
buyers payments OK? disputes happen?
Anything in your new stealth info that might have linked you? :spy:
I know of a user here whose paypal got limited because of her bank choice (that & some other factors) :smash: |
Firefox still works well. |

I know of a user here whose paypal got limited because of her bank choice (that & some other factors) :smash: | stealth was set up in same name as bank account but stealth details, stealth address, no problems only sells a few things, all ok items, the only reason its stealth is because i was blocked, paypal asked me to use a browser other than explorer 24 hours later im limited with no reason or appeal ( items only sell for £20 each ) the whole account makes sell than £500 a month, i use user accounts per stealth and follow the stealth book to the letter...... |
Crazy that PayPal will ask you to use another browser other then internet explorer?
I've been getting a pop up on PayPal wanting to give Apple permission to run ....... |
whatnow | 05-08-2012 10:57 AM | should have known better, cant remember the exact wording but basically the browsers your using has security issues please use another one..... like i said should have known better but this account was solid and the items were fine i have receipts for them and its clothing, new not designer or vero |

Was it in a email, POPUP or Telephone?
Ive never had this before :noidea:
Anyways, Sorry about whats happened, especially after 18 months |
NoneOther | 05-10-2012 11:21 AM | In 10 years of using e/b & p/p I have never been asked use a different browser or ever heard of such a thing.
IE is probably still the most widely used browser so why p/p would ask anyone to change to another during an active session is beyond reason. |
oompaloompa | 05-10-2012 11:41 AM | I would like to know more about this browser request too - never had it....
google chrome is a bully of a browser, it takes over apps/icons and I think it may leak between users...but as for security issues re paypal?? paypal itself has its own security measures plus it is a https as opposed to http, so.... | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 10:00 PM. | |
